Top MMA News has heard from a few sources that Steve Bosse has not been signed by W1 yet. On Saturday night during the W1 Bad Blood event in Montreal, Steve Bosse was brought into the cage as a special guest. Little to his knowledge W1 made the announcement that Bosse had signed an exclusive deal with W1.

Top MMA News has jsut spoke with his manager, Gary Chartrand, and he has confirmed that there is NO deal in place at this time. He did say they were in negotiations and working with W1 but they aren’t happy with the opponents who have been offered so far. So far W1 has looked to put together a Craig “Farmer” Brown rematch, or a Jesse Bongfledt match for Bosse. Niether make sense to Chartrand and they could have a deal in place by the end of the day.

Sources clsoe to both fighters have informed Top MMA News that there are plans to have a Robin Black vs. Eric Perez Semi main event on June 4th at the Winnipeg Convention Center for Canadian Fighting Championship 5.

This fight has big name recognition in Winnipeg and will be the semi main event before Joe Doerksen will take on a yet to be named opponent.

At last night’s post-fight press conference, the UFC awarded three Knockout of the Night bonuses and one Submission of the Night.  No Fight of the Night was awarded.

Jon Jones, Junior Dos Santos, and John Howard all took home $50,000 for their respective knockouts.

Clay Guida was awarded the Submission of the Night and the $50,000 prize that went with that.
