Odds Update

Vagner Rocha 2.75
Jonathan Brookins 1.40
-Brookins is far from an elite striker, but Rocha needs to get this fight to the ground in order to have value as an underdog. If is able to take Brookins down $2.75 is a fantastic price for a 2nd degree black belt.

John Albert 2.75
Ivan Menjivar 1.40
-graduation day for TUF alum John Albert, he as a decent record against lower level competition. He struggled against John Dodson, a natural Flyweight, on the show, and Menjivar is a talented vet with a lot of tools and an unorthodox striking style. Albert is tough to back here as the dog, but Menjivar at $1.40 is decent.

Walel Watson 3.45
T.J. Dillashaw 1.27
-another TUF alum, but this time a finalist Dillashaw comes from a fantastic camp but faces a big challenge in the tall and lanky Walel Watson. I didn’t expect these odds to be quite as far apart, maybe something closer to the odds above.

Philip de Fries 4.50
Stipe Miocic 1.17
-these odds have made a significant change over the last couple of days, if you really want to bet on Miocic fight shop around, but we have seen young fighters billed as the next big thing get quickly derailed and if you are able to cash in when it happens its pretty hard to beat.

Ronny Markes 1.90
Aaron Simpson 1.80
- veteran vs young gun, the odds show how close this fight could be, but often these near pick’em fights can turn into one-sided beatings; the key is being on the right side.

Stefan Struve 2.25
Dave Herman 1.57
- odds were closer together in the middle of the week and some books still have it that way. Interesting fight for both men, winner probably gets a chance to move up in competition. Struve is the UFC vet and his size can be a problem for anyone but Herman has talent and has stated in the media he is looking to use this fight as his coming out party in the UFC.

Diego Sanchez 3.80
Jake Ellenberger 1.22
-Sanchez has put 2 wins together and with a third he could move into the title conversation especially if GSP stays out of action. If Ellenberger wins he could very well get the next shot at rematch with the champ this fight is going to be exciting whether it lasts 3 minutes or 3 rounds. If you intend to put money on Diego wait a little bit closer to the event as he could pass the $3.90 mark, if your on Jake do it now before his value drops below a playable level.

Good Luck tonite and enjoy the fights
