I think your picks are doomed cause mine were identical.

Yah mine are almost identical as well…  I kinda want to go buy a ticket going against all my picks just because I feel like we're tempting fate here.

I keep talking myself into putting some money on Vitor Belfort. Silva has looked bad in the majority of 4 of his last 5 fights. Cote, Leites, Maia, Sonnen were all performances where he was 'good enough'.

I keep wondering if Spider is just losing a step and maybe its time to throw some money against him. Not sure if Belfort is the guy, but Silva will lose in 2011.

I think the best betting value on the card has to be Banueloz. I didn't pick him to win but I think at +280 he is being undervalued because of a lack of name recognition compared to Torres. It's hard to believe the spread is closer between Ellenburger and Rocha than Torres and Banueloz. Banueloz is a veteran with wins over top competition.

I can't make up my mind about Anderson Silva's future. He might look bad in this fight or Sonnen might have given him the wake up call he needed. This fight will hopefully answer all our questions about Silva's motivation.

I like the point about Banueloz.  The spread should be way further apart on the Ellenberger fight though.  I honestly didn't think Ellenberger was a gimme for Fitch (who I consider the 2nd best WW out there).

That's a good point. Ellenberger is probably being underestimated. I doubt that fight will even go to the ground but who knows? I'm more confident Ellenberger will win than I am about any other fight on this card.

Ellenberger should be fighting better competition.  Too bad Fitch was pulled, but lets face it, Fitch vs BJ is a fight to look forward to.

Again with my Silva point though… he is almost 36.  Fighters tend to grow old fast.
