There's not alot of hype on this site for Westcoast shows, I think this is mainly due to the lack of a TMN West Coast rep. I used to hold the spot, but moved on to focus on helping guys out here get bigger opportunities and paydays. I still try and get some conversation going about what's happenning out here. (see other BFL and AFC threads)

I really wish the rest of Canada would get excited about some of the fights and fighters out here in BC. There's some bad ass dudes out here. I am working on getting some of our best into the Ontario shows to showcase the skills and build a fan base in the Eastern provinces.

Check out the next BFL pro card line up. Graham Spencer should be rematching Mike Adams, I think this is a HUGE Canadaian 145 bout. Although Mike hasn't fought since beating Graham at Aggression MMA's only Vernon, BC show, anyone from Toshido is a big time threat. I witness Graham training at Impact MMA here in Nanaimo, he's been wanting this rematch since the submission loss in Vernon. There was some controversy there as Mike grabbed the cage on three different take down attempts from Graham before securing the guillotine. Graham doesn't use this stuff as an excuse, it's all me actually, but Graham definitly uses it as fire to erase that only loss form his record.

I actually expect some of the Edmonton crowd to get interested in Graham as well, the guy put on a show when demolishing Mukai Maromo at the Awada Combat Club (Aggression) show.

BFL 12 was amateur and we do not cover amateur MMA that heavily unless we have a local guy. Usually just a card and results. I had no idea that it was going to be on The Fight Network.

The reason for this is that, in general, only people in any city care about an amateur MMA show in their city. However, most of our audience care about all pro shows in other cities.

Jamie is correct, Top MMA News needs writers/interviews in Vancouver and Victoria. If anyone is interested, let me know.
