So Eric is retired and calls out Tyler Davis and says he will fight him if it is all or nothing. This strikes me as very goofy.
Since Eric is a Winnipeg attraction (possible main event), I assume the fight would be there.
My completely fabricated financial numbers:

In regular fight scenario:
Main event Perez gets $2500 and $2500 + 500 for selling 100 tickets = a range of $3000 to $5500 for fighting.
Davis being an out of towner who will not sell a lick of tickets will get $1500 and $1500 = range of $1500-3000 for fighting
So with Perez' stipulation of winner take all:
Perez range now becomes $0 to $5500 + Davis' $1500 show purse = 0-$7000
Davis range now becomes $0 to $3000 + Perez' show and tickets = 0-$6000
Final Analysis
Davis is only risking $1500 show money to double his potential payday to $6K
Perez is risking his $3000 show/ticket money to increase his potential payday by only $1500.
Recommendation
Davis should take this fight immediately.
I always thought Perez should have his head examined.

WAR Math!

OK… it was pointed out to me that Perez hustling tickets would not occur if it was in this all or nothing scenario.

If I take that out:

Range for Perez: $0 – $6500 + $500 for tickets

Range for Davis: $0 – $5500

If I were Davis, I would still bet my guaranteed show purse against winning $5500.

Last reason for Davis to take it…. if this fight was in the spring AFC card in Winnipeg, it will have been a year since Perez' last fight and a year and a half since his last win.

Davis has fought and won 6 times since Perez has last won.

That last win for Perez was against Tony Bibby.  Ironically, both Perez and Davis RNC'd him.  Davis subbed him 11 seconds faster!

I like Perez for his heart, but Tyler Davis would wear him out.

Davis's last 3 fights went the distance & decision.

Perez would need 3 months minimum to get even close to ready.

Good opportunity for Davis.

AFC is in $6,500 purse to the winner in a winner take all fight. Fight must occur in Winnipeg in the late summer or fall of 2013.

I am biased here but think Tyler is going above and beyond to try get this fight going with all these things Perez and AFC wants in order for the fight to happen. Perez is the one who started it out by calling him out than he said winner takes all, Tyler said ok, than said he cant fight soon cause too big, Tyler said whatever weight he wants he will meet him at. Than now "Fight must occur in Winnipeg in the late summer or fall of 2013." and Tyler still says yes to AFC trying feed every wish to Perez and that promotion getting every advantage possible for Perez is intresting this fight could seel anywhere but in a winner take all yes Tyler has a lot to gain but so many possible things like hometown decicisons can happen and Tyler cant make any money out of tickets so I hope AFC relizes this and makes it worth his time and pays a good travel fee ect.

just my 2cents I think how far out of the way tyler is going to make this work AFC should go out of there way to make sure they pay for his fuel, travel ect. so hes not paying to fight in case some BS happens.  Seems like Perez or AFC not sure who is making a lot of demands.

I don't think Perez will fight 'All or Nothing' despite it being his suggestion.  He has been noticeably absent from this forum post.

Oh Ty, all you need to do is put your purse up and I will gladly take it from you. Its actually ridiculous to think anyone would pay to see you fight anyway with that gangly, flailing style you have. Im not sure which one of the cans you beat that makes you think you have any chance standing with me. But Im glad you have do.

Just put up your purse, have them write it in the contract and let me ride off into the sunset with my money and yours.

Boys, let's write it up! Another great fight to see in Winnipeg, now all we need is a promotion to get things moving forward.

Eric, get in the gym & get ready!

Perez…is this an "all or nothing" as you talked about on the comment section on the site?  It looks like Davis agreed to that.

It seems like you now want it to be "If I lose, I get Show money and Davis gets Show and Win.  If I win, I get Show/Win + Davis' Show money and Davis goes home with nothing"?

How about he put his 'win' bonus up for grabs and winner takes that? We can both have our show money win or lose.

I want to have one more fight at home in front of my family, friends and teammates.

If you really wanted the fight you would agree to a good old fashioned professional Mma bout….buy instead it's all these changing stipulations…..I thought that was a good one, and I agreed to it then the only in my home town stipulation, then I agreed to it. Now it changes again? Dude if you wanted this it would be hammered out already. I like the winner take all idea though so I could give you the worst retirement party in history. I'll leave you beat up, humiliated(due to mid fight bitch slap for running your mouth) no win money or show money and retiring after back to back losses……..sounds great to me so do you want to stick with that original offer you threw out….or just go back on your word and change it up a couple times again. Oh.yea what weight you got in Mind?

If you want to fight me I told you what you need to do. Put up your win purse and we're fighting in Winnipeg for my last fight. Telling me its changed and if I want to do it Id do it isnt going to change anything. You have to prove youre not just a can crusher and more importantly that youre not a can yourself. Or you and your brother can keep padding your records on King of the Cage shows or those other litttle shows you guys like to fight on and pretend anyone should care. Its up to you.
