MFC LHWs Jimmo/Teixeira/Heath/Lewis/Al-Hassan

I am curious about the MFC LHW title situation.

Jimmo had a title shot and refused opponent. Does he still have the title shot?

If he does, does he face the winner of Lewis/Al-Hassan or Teixeira/Heath? Will Jimmo consider Teixeira decent enough in risk/reward to fight him if he beats Heath?

Or does the MFC scrap Jimmo's title shot and let the winners of the two MFC 27 LHW bouts face off for the title next?

Jimmo has stated in an interview that he will fight the winner of Glover vs. Heath. That what makes the most sense but since we're dealing with the Pavster and MFC sense has nothing to do with it. In all honesty Jimmo should have taken the fight vs Glover, I understand the whole risk vs reward thing but buddy your in the MFC expect the unexpected. All it seems Jimmo has done is push he's next pay day back 3 or 4 months.

I would say he should face the winner of the Heath/Glover fight as after his last lost Lewis is still behind, now if some how Heath wins this fight that will just screw everything up and I have zero clue what to say.  Glover is pretty highly regarded by a lot of people and if he gets this win it would be understandable to give him the title shot, man MFC needs to work out there champions.7

Jimmo stated if Glover has a fight in MFC than they'd fight (if MFC wanted it still).

Also I'm not sure where Heath will go after this fight at LHW, not sure if he'll be 185 or 205lbs next fight.

I woulda liked to see Emmanuel Newton on this card. Cuz I wonder what happens if Texeira and Lewis were to lose although I see both winning, especially Dwayne Lewis.

I have commented on this quite a bit on the threads.

I think right now as it stands, we can concider Jimmo the champ.

That being said, I think Lewis is the next in line, although he was "supposed" to win his last one, and that set him back for the title shot.

The Glover vs Hetah fight is weird. Pav kind of made a big deal about Heath moving to 185 and how he'll dominate the scene down there, now he's taking this Glover fight at 205 against Glover, sounds like to set Glover up for the win so he can move onto Jimmo in the new year for the strap as was planned for 27.

If Heath wins this, he should stick around at 205, either fight Lewis at 28 for top contendership or go directly onto a title shot, because if Pav conciders Glover the top contender and Heath wins, that would make Heath the top contender.

Really sucks for us fans that we won't get to see Jimmo until the new year. I'd like to see him go get a win in Asia before Christmas against someone cool….

I wonder if Jimmo gets offered Teixeira for MFC 28 now? <img class="sfsmiley" title="Wink" onclick="sfjLoadSmiley('sf-wink.gif', 'Wink', 'http://topmmanews.com/wp-content/forum-smileys/&#039;, 'Wink', '1');" src="/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif" alt="Wink" />

I guess Jimmo gets a little vindication now that Teixeira is not fighting on 27.

As an MMA fan… pfft @ considering Jimmo being the champ!  Cant imagine a champion of anything turning down worthy competition brought before him, sorry (aside from teammates and training partners).  I could understand if he was green or not ready for the competition of Jimmo's level, but we're not dealing with that here.

Jimmo's not hungry enough to be considered a champion of anything (let the lashing begin), had he shut his mouth he woulda got an easier pass on this fight given Glovers visa issues.  O well.
