Hey lovers,

I’ve been using my femme fatale skills this week and managed to get some juicy bits for all of you to nibble on…

  • Some crazy info is slipping out from the cancelled MFL show, “fake” flights, contracts, etc…  I passed the info to Winnipeg’s number 1 stunna, Keith Grienke who will surely have an explosive investigative article on this.
  • If you can’t lock your cage door properly cuz you got either Bill or Ted working it, don’t punish the fighter for your incompetence, pay them the win bonus or at least split the win bonus between them!
  • Strong rumour from one…

I dont think it's fair to say "nobody will fight Adrian Wooley".

I will fight him, he knows that. Unfortunately, it makes no sense for him to fight me. If he beats me, it does nothing to help him get into the big show, whereas if he loses to me, it fucks everything up for him.

I got to hang out with him and chat for a while last week in NJ. We would love to fight eachother. Unfortunately, i had my chance to make it happen at a time that it would be reasonable and i blew it.

I think there are a few guys out there that are in the same boat. Wooley and Denis need to fight the guys that are just out of WEC/UFC to help them get themselves in. Unfortunately, they are tough fights and the guys who just got cut are probably looking to pad their records to get a streak going before they get back in. Wooley and Denis are not the guys you try to pad your record with.

i really do think Quinn V Wooley would be FOTN in a show though. Wink

I agree I think it'd be a very exciting fight. Also I wonder what Wooley's asking price is.

Are you fighting any time soon Mr. Quinn?

Ya, i dont know what his asking price is, but im sure he wants to be compensated. Cant say much about that.

As for me, i cant fight soon enough. My favorite team of people in charge tell me i will be booked up and busy starting from June.

Cant wait.

Also, if Robin returns from retirement, i dont think it will be akin to the return of Jay Z. More like Return of The Killer Mutant Monster Snow Goons.

But less awesome.

Like Jay-Z because it was a short retirement and they're both rock stars, jeez!

Ooops, looks like Booby is serving some kind of suspension.  I wonder if this will affect his ability to fight?

i don't think anything has an effect on bobby's ability.

I have said it a dozen times: Watching Robin starting where he finished would be a nice bookend: Fighting Chris Myra. Too bad Myra is getting a rep for no-showing.

Fighters just need to fight, not try to hand-pick what is good for their careers match-up wise. The years fly by and suddenly it's woulda coulda shoulda. I'd love to see the handsome and dashing Sean Quinn take on Wooley. Get it on!

I really hate the idea that "taking a fight with fighter X is a bad idea because what if I lose" if you lose to someone it shows you might not be totally ready for the next step. Would you rather be the guy thats making constant improvements or the guy that makes the UFC too early and flops out in 2 fights?

That being said I do understand the reasoning behind that and it seems like Dana White himself is helping to further that thought process with his recent comments at TUF tryouts.

"KOTC Canada is holding a show way up in Dawson Creek, BC. and their
gonna hold a bout between Bobby Kalmakoff and Mike Ciesnolevicz.
Disgraceful on KOTC Canada and whatever commission that’s sanctioning
this circus freak show!!! Shame on both! I’d love to hear an
explanation"

Okay, here is your explanation. It is another promotion that booked this fight, NOT KOTC. Shame on you for not doing your homework, disgraceful! Laugh

According to Mike, this fight was never even brought to his attention and no contracts were signed.  I have no clue if the fight is going to be offered or if they are thinking about doing it, but currently Mike knows nothing about fighting Bobby K. Could be something in the works by the promoter to offer him though.

Bobby asked me about it a few weeks ago and I told him not to do it, but he has to make his own decisions.  Not sure who the promoter is, I didn't ask.

Thanks Ken. So its not KOTC, but Tim Hague and Ken both say that Bobby was considering taking the fight. Although Kurt says Mike has not taken this fight.

Definitely was a rumor there, but looks shot down.
