Believe it or not, Robin isn't the first girl I got sexy with. The first girl was a very inebriated hobag at a house party. She was on her reg…not the best first experience. I woke up the next day and thought my dick was gonna fall off.

Robin is a special lover though.

Edmonton is ok. I've basically got no cash at all so i haven't really tried to go out and see or enjoy the city. My girlfriend BKB has been good about taking me to nice places to eat nice food. Then taking me to nice movies (except Pitch Perfect).

Training is a different story. The training has been fantastic. Most people don't believe me, but the truth is, I've never really trained MMA. I trained Muay Thai at an excellent Muay Thai school. I trained and sparred with Muay Thai guys following Muay Thai rules. And I trained Jiu Jitsu at an excellent jiu jitsu school. I trained with jiu jitsu guys following jiu jitsu rules. I haven't trained any wrestling since i stopped wrestling in 2004.Never actually trained MMA with likeminded MMA guys.

So, to go from training the way I was training, to training at an actual MMA school amongst other MMA fighters has been a big transition. But it exactly what I have been in need of. I think that whenever i do get another fight, people will be very shocked at the transformation. I'm out of Edmonton at the moment, heading to the Philippines to teach Manny Pacquiao how to box as well as to re-wed my wife(don't ask), but I will be back in Edmonton in January, ready to get back at it.

Good question, Keith.

Tough question. I really don't have an answer for that. The way I see it, if you are in the UFC AND you are being highly touted, you have to be pretty good. With that said, here I go…

Heavyweight-With the exception of JDS, Cain and Overeem, all heavyweights suck. They are boring and typically not athletic. I hate watching heavyweights.

Light heavyweight-Fuck if i know. I always want to say JBJ is overrated but then he goes out and destroys everyone. Glover is being hyped big time right now, but i buy into it. I think he is a beast. Nobody else in this weight really gets much hype right now.

Middleweight-Anderson is by far the most hyped…for obvious reasons. I hate him too, but he is just too damn good. Who else is even being talked about as a real contender?

Welterweight-Jonny Hendricks is the big hype in this weight. I don't buy it. I think he is good, but i think Condit beats him. I thnk Diaz beats him. I think he is overrated but has definitely been fun to watch.

Lightweight, Featherweight, Bantamweight and Flyweight- I don't think these weights really get any hype at all. Although, i don't think that Benevidez or Faber are nearly as good as they get credit for.

My two cents.

Does Nick Denis retiring from the UFC due to concerns about head trauma make you stop and think about yourself suffering head trauma or is this something you just have to put out of your mind?

To be honest, I've always known that the sports I love all come with risks. Brain trauma is an especially serious and tricky one. You may never really have anything serious wrong. You may acquire serious trauma in the first practise you attend. You may have trauma and immediately show all the symptoms. You may have trauma and not show any symptoms until it's too late. Very tricky thing to deal with.

I think what Nick Denis has done, is obviously the right choice for him. He has had symptoms, he did the homework, he made a choice. I don't think there is a right or a wrong decision. I think it's very personal. I think that individuals just have to know what they are willing to risk and what they are willing to sacrifice. Nick made his choice based on his values and beliefs.

To put these concerns out of mind would be foolish in my opinion. But according to my values and beliefs, I will not let the possibility of a negative outcome prevent me from doing the things that mean the most to me. I trust that when it is time to pack it in, for whatever reason, I will recognize it and act accordingly. For now, I am still willing to risk it for the shot at becoming the best.

That was a hard one. I could probably right a small book on how I see this situation. So many things to think about.

Best fight: I don't know, but the fight that I go back and watch the most often was Sakuraba vs Royce 1. Really, i end up watching the whole tournament. Sakuraba was one of my favorite and most inspiring fighters. After fighting Royce for 90 minutes, he went ahead and took Igor Vovchanchyn to a second or OT round(don't remember which).  He was amazing.

Best KO: Wanderlai Silva making Rampage collapse and hang on the ropes.

Best sub: No clue. Dustin Hazelett had some pretty sweet subs. Gil Castillo had that rolling oma plata in an old IFC that was pretty sweet. I've always wanted to land that in a fight.

If you could fight any historical figure or celebrity, past or present, real or fictional… who would it be and why?
