A lot of fighters recieve suspensions after their fights, such as 30 days, 60 days, 1yr.

And Ian how can you tell me that its so dangerous for me when you're looking to come back after a back injury isn't that dangerous? like liability?? anyway you were suggesting I was mental in other threads and bashing my career… now its like oh I feel terrible for getting upset with this guy after he force fed readers the thoughts of perhaps im mental? and that I shouldn't fight forever and ever again because I had some TKO's .

I'll admit my previous posts were in bad taste, so, I am sorry for the malicious nickname post I made etc…

I know how dangerous MMA and MMA training can be… I also know that as a fighter, our minds are often our strongest allies and worst enemies alike. If you have ever seen me fight you might understand why I said that. Also, I I only mentioned this to you after trying to come back to MMA way too early (numerous times) and furthering my injuries.

I know how hard it can be to be sidelined when you mentally feel that you are able to compete. I trained for months with numerous disc herniations and bulges because I am mentally tough and didn't want to appear 'soft' for taking time off to heal. Which was the biggest mistake I could have made.

At one point in my life I wanted to make a career out of MMA. I pretty much ruined that by being too stuborn to seek the help I needed when I needed it. I will compete again, when I feel that I am physically capable of doing so. However, I am fully aware that I will never be able to fight full time nor be around the sport as much as I once wanted to be.

My progression towards grappling once or twice a week (which only started 2 weeks ago or so) has taken me over 2 years. I am not in a rush to get back in the game. Which is really the only thing I was suggesting that you do.

I won't tell you what to do or not do with your life or career. But… having done some serious damage to both my personal and professional career by being stubborn didn't help me at all, and, I would never wish that on anyone else.

this going come off as mega douche but get some wins before calling out Black!

Everyone who fights Black seems to get a bit of attention behind fight so someone who deserves that fight should take that spot.

I've actually been called out by countless 0-0 dudes and a 3-17 guy or 2. Everyone wants to beat up the romo.

TJ. I probably won't still be fighting in September 2011 when your suspension is lifted, but if I am I'll fight you if you can make the 150 range and have won at least 1 fight and are medically cleared. (I realize those are 3 highly unlikely scenarios.)

I'm glad you've mellowed out man. Nice to see.

Definitely consider what Ian is saying. It would be a shame to see you get injured taking a fight somewhere else while you are medically suspended. Its a good idea to listen to doctors. They know what they're talking about.

Best of luck.

Mr. Black always love the fact that you stay classy even under fire. I only have two points:

1: I know Keith touched on this earlier but can someone elaborate on on the TJ in Paul's trunk scenario, very interested.

2. I hope this EPIC thread in no way gets TJ a fight since that's all he's really looking for.

I use to want to beat you up cause your t.v show but more I talked with you and saw you around I gained respect for you and just dont have that desire anymore haha.  Think its cause you have a bigger name and have a better job then myself would be the drive I would need now.  Use to just not like you cause you came in with a name and most people who fight you get some notice and people notice the fight but your pretty good in my books, dont understand that hate.

You sir, Mr. Davis, just made my day.

When I started, I knew people would hate me and was prepared for it. But, even being prepared for it, sometimes it really hurt.

I swore to myself that, if I just worked hard and did my best and always tried to do good for the sport and the people in it, people would maybe accept me.

The last 6 months or so people have been really good to me, and I feel very proud to be involved in the sport and proud to try to get better as a fighter, analyst, and color commentator. And fledgling manager.

I'll try to continue to improve and do right by the people in the sport.

Thanks Mike Davis you sweet sonovabitch.  :)

ha ha ha  at what weight?  TJ can you sing and dance as well as you scrap? i think it would be more fun to have a karaoke-off between you and Monsieur Noir. We in the crowd could pick really awful tunes and have you two croon away.

Seriously. We could charge at the door and mebbe raise a little moneez for a charity of some sort.  Can I emcee? Robin ALWAYS gets to and I think I would be good at it.

 Think about it…

This was an attempt at sarcasm as everyone calls Robin out.

No offense to Robin, I just did not know the proper emoticon to indicate sarcasm.

Agreed.  Until TJ has a written note from his doctor, a reputable MMA trainer, and his mom, let no promoter put TJ Coletti on a card again.

Not being critical TJ I appreciate your use of new media to try and drum up interest or opponent for a paying fight.

Plus, I'm I really being called out here. Come On TJ you might have weight issues but I don't think even you want a heavyweight tilt lol.

Lastly, still no comment on you in the trunk, come on that has to be a fantastic story. Please do share.
