why trash on fellow fighters? from the post i have read robin black is a very intelligent mma critic and fighter, also i like his comentary as he has been there before. And how can you trash on others records with one such as yours? no offence bro i think any man who steps in there has more balls than 90 % of people on the streets, but " let he without sin cast the first stone" so to speak ( i think Big John said that)

pro boxer? I found 1 fight with 1 loss. I am a big fan though, TJ. You are either on a complete break with reality or you are the MMA version of Andy Kaufman.

Either way, the fact that promotions still let you in there to get dummied is insane. BTW where you fighting next?

Hey what happened with Tugboat ? did they find you or you find them?

TJ… Can you explain the comment on the post that said you were in the trunk of Ebejer's car at the casino and he went over all the speed bumps while you were in there.

T.J.

I may be a herpie on MMA, but, I knew when to listen to my body and take some time off. I never questioned your drive to fight, and have said in other threads that obviously you love the sport, someone who didn't love it probably would have given up after the first or second stoppage loss. I just brought up the fact that maybe you should take some time off and improve before you step in the cage again. Because, 1 you are medically banned and still looking to compete elsewhere – that is just dangerous.

Secondly, I speak from experience. I am currently rehabilitating from a serious back injury and contemplating a return to MMA. However, I before I get back in the game, I am going to go get mri's and scans above and beyond what is medically required of me… just to make sure that I am in the right condition to do so.

MMA is something I love. I am not looking to make money, fame, or a career out of it. But… I won't step in a cage unless I am sure I am prepared to go out there and compete at a level the fans, sport, and myself deserve.

Whatever you decide, I wish you luck.

Herpie, out.

cool, I respect that Ian.. those were my first fights and the pro scene was new to me so with each fight I may not have executed finishes but I still developed in ways and both skill and confidence. I fought guys that had more fights than me and sure
I agree it's potentially dangerous to step in there.. I do have enough fighting experience to be able to get in there and hold my own, it's just these are as equally and more skilled than average guys that may pop off at the bar or on the street. And you're absolutely right when you say that one should be performing at their best capabilities with lot's of training. The potential for serious life threatening or fatal injuries can occur and do exist in the sport of MMA. It's a decision each fighter makes upon stepping in there for war. I am as mutually anxious to get back in there so as well I'm training to get back up to speed and ready to take on my next opponent.
Good luck with your recovery.

TJ,

I'm not one for trash talk or anything. But you you get suspended for medical reasons, don't you think it'd be a good idea to listen to the doctors and keep you self safe? Fighting after docs reccommend you don't is very dangerous, and you can risk some pretty serious injury to yourself.

I'm just curious to what you think on the issue of your medical suspension. Mostly want to know why you would seek to blatantly disobey the commissions that are in place to keep fighters safe, and maintain the legality and crediblity of the sport of mma?

And Ian how can you tell me that its so dangerous for me when you're looking to come back after a back injury isn't that dangerous? like liability?? anyway you were suggesting I was mental in other threads and bashing my career… now its like oh I feel terrible for getting upset with this guy after he force fed readers the thoughts of perhaps im mental? and that I shouldn't fight forever and ever again because I had some TKO's .
