can’t wait to see the haggis basher on this list he deserves it! As a former Sarnian living and training in Alberta your career is a big inspiration and motivator for me. I hope to get the chance to train at supreme when I’m in sarnia for 3 weeks this summer not sure if you guys are down with having visitors come.
I always welcome visitors at my gym.
Fraser must say you have easily one of the best Canadian nicknames. Would love to see you and Denis fight one day.
Haggis Basher is easily one of the best P4P in Canada. He can fight and win at 135, 145, 155. That is pretty fuckin impressive!!
i am sure Nick and I will meet up down the road, I would like a international fighter next. Hopefully I will be back in the cage before the fall I want three more fights this year.
Lots of fights have taken place in the Bantamweight division hope to see a update soon on the rankings
Great win over Chuck Mady in Windor tonight.
Love the “Haggis Basher” name …billiant.
Keep it going.

Just read that Roland Delorme is going to be on the next season of TUF. Good luck to him!
4-0 Chris Kelades should be mentioned somewhere on this list
I hear chris kelades has a good future in the sport and Wooley is a beast!
Yves Jabouin will need on this list now.
No doubt!
We just seen who is Canada’s # 2 Bantamweight.
125 anyone??
way to go eric, but really, he should be above delorme, no disrespect, but he did beat him… and in my opinion he did it decisively too.
lmao @Mitch Clarke
Were is Michel Gagnon?????????????????????????
Gagnon just dropped weight classes, read the dates lol
gagnon has to b in the top 3 now !!
Love to see Haggis Basher vs. Gagnon. Winner to the UFC!!!
after last night gagnon will sub him in 1 rnd ,
Don’t see anybody subbing Fraser in round one. I think Gagnon wins this though.
he has EVERY 1 ELSE EXCEPT GROULX AND ROMERO SO…
And Fraser’s BJJ is far, far beyond the caliber of those two.
so . . . not even sure if Gagnon wants to take it to the ground against the Haggis Basher.
I would love to fight Gagnon, I need a opponent Dec 3rd in Sarnia, on. We can fight 135 or 145.
Sounds good to me, winner to the UFC. If it doesn’t work out I know Wadsworth is looking for a fight around that date at 145.
I thought Gagnon was under exclusive contract with Ringside?
Maybe Fraser can fight in Ringside in December, as they have an event in Quebec City.
Fraser and Gagnon. Someone make it happen!
Covering Ringside 12 at the Bell Centre last night, it was strongly suggested that Gagnon’s next bout will be against his original opponent, Ringside bantam champion Stephane Pelletier.
mma scoop i dont think fraser is that far ahead of groulx bjj , he gave gagnon ALL he could handle and had him in trouble a few times . thats the fist time ive seen gagnon in trouble even against romero he wasnt in trouble like that . gagnon and fraser is the real fight here , but i have a feeln Mitch might get the call b 4 then . hopefully hes a fuckn beast at 135 DAMN !!
Fraser and gagnon are both scary dudes right now!!!! thats a canadian dream matchup!!!
Fightmatrix.com has now ranked Gagnon #2 in Canada and #36 Overall. He is bookended by Jabouin (#1) and Menjivar (#3), 2 UFC fighters.
He’s getting the call. It will be against an American and it will be in Canada. The when is debatable but he should keep a suitcase packed and lay off the carrot cake.
What the hell, how is Denis not #1!!!!
lol ;)
Gagnon just singed with UFC, fighting Johnny Bedford first!
time for some new rankings here!
Well-loved!

[…] coming out of western Canada. Wilson, a protege of Zugec Ultimate Martial Arts, is former national top 10 ranked Bantamweight but since his Aggression MMA 6 loss to Josh Hill has only competed once with a second round TKO win […]
My top 10
1) Bibiano Fernandes
2) Ivan Menjivar
3) Yves Jabouin
4) Roland Delorme
5) Mitch Gagnon
6) Josh Hill
7) Curtis Brigham
8) Louis Fisette
9) Syd Barnier
10) Stephane Pelletier
Agreed
not bad Darren , I still don’t think bibi should be on can rankings no matter who he married, pelliter should be out of top ten , and wheres fraser???hasn’t brigham had 2 fights since he returned to competiton , both excellent outings but ??? quite a leap….fissette should be there even tyler davis , eric Wilson still not out of the pic , but should drop to 25….anyhow glad you posted it
Hot debate. What do you think?

Barnier version 3.0 vs Fissette or Hill ? Could be fun!
Barnier vs fissette , Brigham , Fraser all good match ups … I think josh hill is UFC bound…..Brigham. Vs Fraser really interesting…
hasn’t fraser moved to 145 now?
Last I heard he was fighting at both…
Obviously an argument can be made for many fighters who should be ranked. 1-8 belong, but no way Pelletier and definitely not Barnier should be ranked. There are other fighter much more deserving
When are they up dating these rankings ? Needs to be updated seems out of date !
how bout an update of the rankings
