Boser Meets Spitz at UFC on ESPN 6 on October 18

#1 Heavyweight in Canada Tanner “The Bulldozer” Boser signed with the UFC a couple months ago and after a cancelled debut he will finally step into the Octagon on October 18 in Boston against Daniel Spitz at UFC on ESPN 6.

Boser was set to make his debut at UFC 240 in Edmonton, Alberta on July 27 against undefeated Brazilian Giacomo Lemos. Just days before the event however, Lemos was flagged for a USADA violation and the bout was scrapped. Boser was paid his show money and his “Fight Week Incentive Pay” and promised a new booking as soon as possible. A rumoured fight between Boser and Maurice Greene at UFC 241 was in the works but never materialized.

Tanner Boser  has put together a career record of 16-5-1 and most recently defended his Unified Heavyweight Title in a 4th round TKO of Jared Kilkenny. Boser also holds notable wins over the likes of Chase Gormley, DJ Linderman, Dave Cryer, Rakim Cleveland, Joe Yager, Tony Lopez, Victor Valimaki and the late Tim Hague among others.

Daniel Spitz will be making his fourth walk to the Octagon coming off a loss to #11 ranked Heavyweight Walt Harris. Spitz holds a 2-1 record in the UFC with a win over former MFC Heavyweight champion Anthony Hamilton after dropping his debut to Mark Godbeer back in 2017. Spitz holds a 6-2 record as a pro as well as a 5-1 mark as an Amateur.

UFC on ESPN 6 goes down October 18 from TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. In the main event former Middleweight champ Chris Weidman moves up to Light-Heavyweight to take on rising star, #4 ranked Dominic Reyes and in the co-main event Zabit Magomedsharipov meets Calvin Kattar in a battle of ranked Featherweights.
