…and now for the rumours!

  • Cole Smith has signed with the UFC. The 30 year old Bantamweight will step in on short notice to replace Brian Kelleher against the returning Mitch Gagnon at UFC on ESPN+ in Ottawa on May 4.
  • Charles Jourdain has also inked a UFC contract and will make his debut against Desmond Green at UFC on ESPN+ 10 on May 18 in Rochester, New York.
  • Aaron Jeffery recently collected the BTC Middleweight Title and will look to catapult himself to a UFC contract when he takes on Brendan Allen on Dana White’s Contender Series on July 16
  • One week later, on July 23 Christien Savoie will finally get his shot on Dana White’s Contender Series when he takes on Jordan Williams in a Middleweight bout!
  • Kyle Prepolec will take on UFC veteran Mike Santiago in Lightweight action at Prospect Fighting Championships on June 15 in Windsor, Ontario. TJ Laramie will also be on the card taking on Josh Rohler at Featherweight.
  • Tanner Boser is set to return to the Unified cage in Edmonton for the first time in almost two and half years on May 24.

    • Alyssa Krahn will be one of four fighters to compete in a 1 round exhibition reserve bout for the Invicta: Phoenix Rising Strawweight one night title tournament on May 3. Should Krahn win her bout against Itzel Esquivel and a fighter falls out of the tournament she would be eligible to step in.
    • Rise FC has also set dates of September 7 and November 30 for their 5th and 6th events respectively!
    • Dejan Kajic is set to take on Eric McConico for the Super-Welterweight Title at BFL 61, the two were supposed to meet at BFL 60 but the fight was scrapped.
