Canadian MMA Rumour Mill – September 10, 2018

Some heartwarming news to start off the week. MMA Fighter Brent Keryluke and his wife Nicole were killed this spring in a motorcycle accident leaving behind their two children Arielle and Liam. Over the weekend Brent’s father Ben reluctantly put a classic car that Brent had been working on up for auction to raise money to help support the children who were both born with hearing impairments.

The car was sold at auction for $30,000… then the auction winner donated the car back and it was auctioned off again going for $29,000 and it didn’t stop there. The car was auctioned a third time with the gavel dropping at $20,000 and then the final winning bidder gave the car back to the Keryluke family! Other auction attendees also made donations to the Keryluke family bringing the total to about $100,000 which is in addition to the more than $75,000 from the Go Fund Me campaign!

…and now for the rumours!
