and now for the rumours…

  • Don’t forget to tune into UFC Fight Night 129 tomorrow night. Chad Laprise will open the main card looking for his fourth straight knockout finish against Vicente Luque. The main card airs live and free on TSN2 beginning at 10pm et.
  • Tanner Boser is heading down under for his next appearance with Absolute Championship Berkut. The Bulldozer will take on former UFC and Bellator Heavyweight Chase Gormley in Brisbane, Australia on June 16th.
  • It’s looking like it’ll be an explosive summer for XFFC as their 19th show is set for August 11 in Grande Prairie. Michael Hill will challenge Matt Krayco for the vacant Welterweight Title. The Middleweight Title will also be up for grabs as Matt Dwyer will meet a to be named opponent for belt which was recently vacated by Matt Baker when he signed with Brave Combat Federation.

  • Sounds like there’s some rumblings that John Alessio may be interested in coming out of retirement for one more fight. Alessio is currently employed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
  • Looks like Steve Bosse’s next fight will be a boxing match against Jean Pascal at Cruiserweight on June 29 in Quebec.
  • Ryan Ford faced yet another world ranked opponent last weekend but unfortunately dropped his third straight Unanimous Decision. By many accounts it sounds like the decision was a controversial one.

3 straight decision losses in Russia. I’m sure it was judged fairly.

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 6 Thumb down 7

Two in Russia, one in Germany but yeah… Fought two Russian’s in Russia and a Turk in Germany, I haven’t watched any of the fights but it’s pretty hard to win a close fight by decision on enemy soil!

From everything I’ve heard Ford did well in all three of these recent losses and did not look out of place against three opponents who are Top 25 in the world!

    Well-loved! Thumb up 17 Thumb down 0

  3. Donny James says:

I would like to see Ford fight and
beat uo on either a David Lemiux or a Jean Pascal or a adonis stevenson, The real deal would make short work of these over the hill fracophones!
