For a number of years the sport of MMA has been a stalemate in this province with MMA fan’s only outlet coming by way of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. BTC Fight Promotion’s not only aims to deliver the highest quality regional pro show, but also aims to allow homegrown talent to finally fight once again on domestic soil.

BTC Fight Promotion’s inaugural event will be BTC 1: Genesis on Saturday, May 27th 2017 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The promotion is proud to partner with the Toronto Pro Super Show for this marquee card. The Toronto Pro Super Show is Canada’s largest annual fitness expo and has long been a supporter of combat sports, including hosting previous events in that realm in year’s prior during the expo.

CEO/Promotor Irene Starr has been a long time mixed martial arts fan and an avid supporter of homegrown athletes. She has run a variety of successful amateur kickboxing events and professional regional MMA shows in the past making for a promising start to her new promotion. Starr’s passion is to see the sport renewed in her home province of Ontario and she is very excited to give local talent another change at competing on home soil.

Tickets are now on sale and are priced at $35.00, $55.00 and $75.00 with doors to the event opening at 6pm. For more information on the promotion, card and ticket purchase options please visit btcfightpromo.com.
