Davis Welcomes Dandois to Octagon at UFC Fight Night 108
Canada’s #1 Female Bantamweight is set to return to the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 108 in Nashville this April. UFC officials recently announced that Alexis “Ally-Gator” Davis will meet newly signed Invicta veteran Cindy “Battlecat” Dandois.
Alexis Davis returns to the Octagon for the second time since a lengthy layoff due to the birth of her first child. Davis was submitted by Sara McMann by Arm-Triangle Choke in the second round of their TUF 24 Finale affair. Davis has had a solid run in the UFC winning her first three outings en route to a Bantamweight Title shot but fell short against then Champ Ronda Rousey. Davis then cemented her claim as the top Canadian female Bantamweight with a win over fellow Canuck Sarah Kaufman before her hiatus.
Cindy Dandois makes her UFC debut in the midst of a three fight winning streak including a pair of submission victories over Jessamyn Duke and Megan Anderson as well as a TKO win over Anjela Pink in her most recent bout. The Belgian fighter also holds notable wins over the likes of Marloes Coenen, Sheila Gaff and Daria Ibragimova.
UFC Fight Night 108 goes down April 22 in Nashville, Tennessee and is headlined by a Featherweight bout pitting Cub Swanson against Artem Lobov. Also on the card Al Iaquinta meets Diego Sanchez at Lightweight and Thales Leites meets Sam Alvey at Middleweight. Check out the full UFC Fight Night 108 lineup HERE.
