Kennedy Enters Enemy Territory against Jason at UFC Fight Night 106
Undefeated Featherweight Jeremy “JBC” Kennedy returns to the Octagon looking to push his UFC record to 2-0 against Rony Jason at UFC Fight Night 106 in Fortaleza, Brazil on March 11. UFC officials announced the Featherweight bout and the event will air on FOX Sports 1, TSN and UFC Fight Pass.
Jeremy “JBC” Kennedy made his UFC debut at UFC on FOX 21 in Vancouver. Kennedy was originally set to take on Josh Emmet who withdrew due to injury. Fellow Canadian Alex Ricci stepped in and Kennedy scored a unanimous decision victory. Kennedy opened his MMA career with an impressive 6-1 amateur record before going pro and compiling an 8-0 record prior to getting the call to the big show. Kennedy holds notable wins over Drew Brokenshire and Mario Perreira as well as a rare Peruvian necktie submission over Matthew Middleton in Thailand.

Jason won his first three outings but has stumbled since then winning officially only once in the three years with a win over Steven Siler. Jason scored a submission over Damon Jackson however it was later overturned due to a failed drug test. Jason most recently lost a unanimous decision to Dennis Bermudez at UFC Fight Night 92 in August.
