UFC Returns to Halifax

UFC CanadaThe UFC will return to Halifax on February 19th, 2017 with another Fight Night card, according to a Neil Davidson Canadian Press report.

The first time the UFC visited Nova Scotia was in in October 2014 in front of a crowd of 10,782. Rory MacDonald was in the main event where he TKO’d Tarec Saffiedine. Fans also excitedly witnessed the short notice debut win of hometown fighter Chris Kelades on that UFC Fight Night 54 undercard.

No fighters have been announced on the card at this time, however, it is safe to assume Kelades will return. Perhaps if PEI’s Jason Saggo is healthy following his UFC 206 bout, he could make a quick return to the Octagon as well.

UFC should sign Matt “The Belt Collector” MacGrath for this card. Give him the shot he has earned!

Nope bud. They need to sign Andrew M. Best lightweight outside of the UFC bud. He can tap out the entire LW roster bud.

Look for St. Albert’s crown jewel Sheldon W to make his return on this card as well buds. Another quick submission win for our boy buddys!

I’m rich and from St. Albert. My opinion matters more than anyone else.
