Garcia Gets Pyle At UFC 207
“The Dominican Nightmare” Alex Garcia will finally return to action after a long 10 month lay off to
take on the ever tough and always durable Mike “Quicksand” Pyle at UFC 207.
After a 10-1 run on the Quebec regional scene, Garcia finally got a shot in the UFC goin 2-0 in his first 2 outings. Garcia suffered his first Octagon loss to Neil Magny but rebounded with a decision win over over veteran Mike Swick. In his last bout Garica was stopped in only his second time in his career albeit with only 35 seconds left in the fight. Now facing another durable veteran Garcia will look to regain his prospect status with a vicious victory over Mike Pyle.
Pyle is a 19 time UFC/WEC veteran along with spending time in other big promotions such as IFL, Elite XC, Affliction and Sengoku. Once a top 15 Welterweight Pyle has struggled of late going 1-3 in his past 4 Octagon outings dropping bouts to the young upstarts such as Jordan Mein, Colby Covington and Alberto Mina. A durable and exciting veteran with a never say die attitude Pyle will look snap his losing streak but also prove he is no stepping stone when he faces Alex Garcia.
UFC 207 goes down December 30th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card is headlined by a Women’s Bantamweight title fight between champion Amanda Nunes and challenger Ronda Rousey.
