Iraq born but Windsor’s own Markos will look to build off her win over Jones-Lybarger and achieve her first two fight win streak inside the UFC. After a narrow split decision loss to Jessica Penne in her first official Octagon outing “The Quiet Storm” rebounded with a decision victory over Aisling Daly at UFC 186. 8 months later Markos was tasked with welcoming the undefeated Karolina Kowalkiewicz to the 8 sided cage but unfortunately dropped a decision to the surging Pol. Now back training at Michigan Top Team Markos will look to continue her climb up the UFC’s Straw Weight ladder.

Casey is making an even quicker turn around then Markos as she competed July 13th where she achieved her first UFC win with a TKO victory over Cristina Stanciu. “Cast Iron” had a rough beginning to her UFC run losing her first two outings to veterans Joanne Calderwood and Seo Hee Ham. Even in her loses Casey made a fantastic case for herself with the UFC brass as  she was awarded Fight of the Night bonuses in both bouts.

UFC 202 goes down August 20th from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card is headlined by the much-anticipated rematch between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor.
