TKO MMA Announces Signings of Horodecki, Ronson, Vallée and More

TKO MMAStéphane Patry announced the resurrection of TKO MMA less than 2 weeks ago and he’s already making a big splash in the free agent pool. Patry recently announced the signing of Chris Horodecki, Jesse Ronson, Jo Vallée, Derek Gauthier as well as Louis and Charles Jourdain. TKO 36 is expected to go down live from Montreal in November and an exact date and venue should be announced shortly.

Chris Horodecki was the first signing announced today. The Featherweight is a veteran of over 25 fights and made his pro-debut as an 18 year old under the Ultimate Cage Wars banner. Horodecki then moved on to TKO Major League MMA where he won four straight by way of KO or TKO. The Adrenaline Training Centre fighter Horodecki, under the tutelage of the late, great Shawn Thompkins has also had significant runs in IFL, WEC and Bellator throughout his 10+ year career. Horodecki holds notable wins over the likes of Bart Palaszewski, Ryan Schultz, Ed West, William Sriyapai, Chris Saunders and many more.

Another Team Tompkins protege Jesse Ronson was next to sign on the dotted line. Ronson, who also fights out of the Adrenaline Training Center in London will look to stop a three fight losing streak when he makes his debut with TKO. Ronson brings a 15-8 record into the TKO cage and counts notable wins over Shane Campbell, Jason Saggo, Alex Ricci, Ryan Healy and Dom O’Grady among others.

Also inking a new contract today was rising Middleweight prospect Jo Vallée. Bringing a 4-1 pro record to the table as well as a solid amateur career boasting an 8-2-1 record on the amateur circuit.

Another TKO veteran was brought into the fold today as Derek Gauthier looks to return from a two year layoff and rebound from a 2-6 slide after opening his career with five straight victories.

Finally TKO locked up a pair of undefeated brothers Charles Jourdain and Louis Jourdain. Both sport a 1-0 pro record with extensive amateur backgrounds. Charles, who has fought the majority of his young career at Featherweight holds an amateur record of 8-2 while his brother Louis is an undefeated Flyweight at 6-0-1.

Great to see a big promotion coming back to the east coast. Hopefullythey do lots of shows so that Ontario and Quebec fighters can get some scraps!

Correction: You are confusing UCC with UCW. it was UCC that became TKO, not UCW.

Ultimate Cage Wars was Krzyzstof Soszynski’s promotion in Winnipeg. Horodecki did turn pro there in UCW though before going to TKO.

Eh der boys! Since UFC is foolish and havnt signed Andrew Mciness to the UFC Vancouver Card, we should have Ronson vs Mciness for the TKO title!

Would love to see Ronson vs McInnis has potential for a great highlight reel KO with McInnis trying to get it to the ground drastically and Ronson trying to keep the range.
