Taleb Set To Meet Jouban At UFC Fight Night 90


Nordine Taleb will look to take out another top notch Welterweight when he meets Alan “Brahma” Jouban at UFC Fight Night 90. nordine taleb

Taleb impressively is 4-1 in Octagon outings since joining the UFC in April 14. He is fresh off a knock out of Erick Silva at UFC 196, which garnered the Tristar Gym product a $30,000 KOTN bonus. Besides a submission loss to undefeated prospect Warlley Alves, Taleb has conquered all other Octagon opposition in the form of Vik Grujic, Jingliang Li and fellow Canadian Chris Clements.

Jouban, just like Taleb, was also handed his first Octagon loss at the hands of the aforementioned Alves. The Legends MMA product recently returned to the win column with the first round destruction of Brendan O’Reilly after a devastating TKO loss to wrecking machine Albert Tumenov. A former RFA Welterweight title challenger “Brahma” also holds UFC wins over the likes of Seth Baczynski, Richard Walsh and former BFL Welterweight champion Matt Dwyer.

UFC Fight Night 90 goes down July 7th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card is headlined by a Lightweight title match up where Rafael dos Anjos meets Eddie Alvarez. Taleb joins fellow Canadians Mitch Clarke and John Makdessi who were already scheduled on the card.
