A Welterweight fight has been announced and completes the Xcessive Force FC 9 card on April 15 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. XFFC’s Darren Cliffe confirmed today that Spencer “Judge” Jebb will meet TUF Veteran Michael “The Messenger” Hill in a Welterweight bout.

Spencer Jebb looks to continue his hot streak and extend his win streak to three straight. Jebb has won nine of his last ten outings and was well on his way to victory in his lone loss when Mark Drummond finished their bout with a hail mary knee in the third round. Jebb began his career with a 2-3 start and since then has secured wins over the likes of Mike Scarcello, Matt DesRoches, Dejan Kajic and Cody Krahn. Jebb owns finishes in seven of his eleven victories but has won his last four by way of decision.

Michael Hill enters the bout on the heels of a five round decision loss to Matt MacGrath for the Elite 1 Welterweight Title. Hill opened his MMA career on a four fight win streak which led to a stint on The Ultimate Fighter where he was ultimately defeated by eventual runner-up and fellow Canadian Mike Ricci. Hill holds notable victories over Mike Scarcello, Richard Arsenault, Ryan Dickson and Mark Drummond. Hill is also scheduled to take on Jesse Ronson at Prestige Fighting Championship 7 in June.

XFFC 9: Conviction goes down live from the Entrec Centre in Grande Prairie, Alberta on April 15. In the main event Kalib Starnes defends the Heavyweight Title in a rematch against Tim Hage and Jesse Ronson challenges Matt MacGrath for the Welterweight Title.
