faces Justin “J-Bomb” Salas at UFC 196.

Prior to making his UFC debut Saggo, who trains out of Wulfrun MMA, was riding a 4 fight win streak which included wins over the likes of Iraj Hadin and Stephen Beaumont. He finally got the call to the big show and in June of 2014 he made the most of it getting the first round TKO win over Josh Shockley at UFC 174. He returned 4 months later at UFC Fight Night 54 at took the surging Paul Felder to a split decision albeit on the losing side. Now healthy and ready to throw down he will look for his second Octagon win versus Salas.

Grudge Training Center’s Justin Salas has not been seen in the Octagon in over 18 months and just like Saggo will be looking to shake off the ring rust. “J-Bomb” owns a 3-3 record inside the UFC but has traded wins and loses since joining the promotion in February 2012. A native of Wheat Ridge, Colorado he holds notable career wins over the likes of Anton Kuivanen, Aaron Riley and Joe Ellenberger.

UFC 196 goes down March 5th in Las Vegas and is headlined by a Lightweight title fight between champion Rafael Dos Anjos and Featherweight title holder Conor McGregor. Saggo will join fellow Canadian Nordine Taleb who looks for his biggest career win against Erick Silva.
