In the main event Lance Palmer defends his Featherweight Title against challenger Alexandre Almeida. But that’s not what we’re excited about. Josh “The Gentleman” Hill will look to welcome Bekbulat Magomedov to WSOF in a not so gentlemanly way and on the prelims “Mean” Hakeem Dawodu will look to continue his rise as Canada’s brightest Featherweight prospect when he takes on Marat Magomedov.

    How did the Hakeem fight go? I see it was a draw but how did it play out ?

    Hakeem got out-grappled in the 1st two rounds but won the 3rd round 10-8. Magomedov was pretty gassed in the 3rd but Hakeem couldn’t get the finish.

    I wouldn’t say he got out grappled. He had a variety of good escapes but also his opponent was doing almost nothing from the top. I mean he landed a few good shots but nothing that threatened stoppage.

    Recap from last night WSOF: lance Palmer got ripped off, josh Hill edges/grinds out another big victory, hawkeen almost got the W but showed great heart and showed he is dangerous in every round!
