Laramie Meets Siraj At Hard Knocks 48


Hard Knocks THUMBQuite possibly Canadian MMA’s rookie of the year for 2015 TJ Laramie is already set for his 2016 campaign meeting BC native Jamie Siraj at Hard Knocks 48.

Laramie burst onto the scene in 2015, first appearing on the second season of Fighters Xchange and making his professional debut in Tokyo, Japan at Pancrase 265 defeating veteran Koji Obata by TKO in the first round. Once he finally turned 18 years old Laramie signed with Hard Knocks and made his Canadian debut this past November finishing Luke Noel by rear naked choke only 76 seconds into the first stanza.

Siraj, a member of Revolution Fight Team, had stellar amateur campaign before turning pro going 7-1 in unpaid bouts. Know as “The Gremlim” he went 2-0 in his first two professional bouts before suffering his first career lose to Nick Ghaeni by highly contentious split decision.

Hard Knocks 48 goes down January 29th from the Markin MacPhail Centre in Calgary, Alberta. The card features three title fights with Rodney Wallace, Jesse Arnett and Sergej Juskevic all defending their belts in the trio of main events.
