Hill Vs. Magomedov Set For WSOF 26

The long rumored Bantamweight showdown between Josh Hill (12-1) and Bekbulat Magomedov (16-0) will finally come to fruition at WSOF 26 in Las Vegas.

Hill, who is spending his time at Team Alpha Male training for this fight, last fought for WSOF in February where he took champion Marlon Moraes all five rounds, albeit in a losing effort. Since that bout, the “Gentleman” was not being booked by WSOF so he looked elsewhere for tussles submitting Josh Rettinghouse in Burlington and defeating Ion Vranceanu all the way in Romania.

Magomedov, another one of the long list of prospects coming out of the Dagestan region in Russia, will be making his North American debut. The Sparta Moscow trained fighter has finished 11 of his 16 wins and will be cutting down from Featherweight to 135 lbs. It’s been a while since WSOF announced their Magomedov signing.  They have kept him outside the cage since September of last year.

WSOF 26 goes down December 18th from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event features a Featherweight title match up between champion Lance Palmer and number 1 contender Alexandre Almeida.

It’s ok, they’re fighting in Las Vegas! WSoF doesn’t want to lose their promoters license from NSAC!

Have any fighter’s been paid upfront, not meaning bonuses.
