  2. YYCFghts says:

Nice job by the ref to let Ali call his own timeout when the mouth guard came loose. Glad that didn’t cost Lyndon the win.

Isn’t this the same ref that let that girl continue taking a beating in the third round at the last Hard Knocks?

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 4 Thumb down 9

  3. Dan Monahan says:

Hats off to HardKnox MMA for a great event. the Main event was very evenly matched the fights were very entertaining The Refs at Hard Knox are damn good compared to those in most places ive seen, as both have a ton of expieriance. Adam has done a couple UFC events and Social has been around forever in different capacities and as for both these officials they work western Cananda for several commissions for a reason. these guys have a tough job as does all the officials, Judges inspectors and timekeepers in and around the country.

The fact is both Excessive Force and Hard Knox promotions are the best out there and its due to both their CEO s contracting the best of the best competition to entertain the MMA fans

too much inhouse same ole fighters at Unified in Edmonton and i believe why the promotion will always be third rate behind KOTC at least they brought in Riggs ,Cannon and Severn !

ohhhh and Havoc is working its way up the ladder too as they too are importing some of the best fighters Canada has to offer ie Malcom Gordon, and other stable members from London Ont.

before any of you pick apart my opinion i just want to say i am a fan and an athlete and i refuse to divulge my dojo and would never disrespect other diciplines or schools as ive seen on this site so keep it clean and real is my motto

    PEACE OUT

You forgot just a couple promotions there Dan boy

Yeah Xffc & HK are doing bigger fights, both promotors have on several occasions admitted to losing money nearly every show and sometimes a lot of money not to mention both owners are not very well liked among the MMA community.

Tho Unfied & Kotc may not put on big fights, they are consistent and I expect they’ll be around long after these other guys are bankrupt and gone.

BFL, Havoc, Fivestar, Elite 1 all put on good fights and are constant as well and seem like they keep their costs in order so that they’ll have some longevity in the sport.

  5. Dan Monahan says:

i apologise for the not giving credit to the others and no disrespect intended as i have never witnessed the other promotions first hand although i have heard good things regarding there events !

i have no doubt that there is alot more to the organizing marketing and promotional aspect that is behind the scenes and cost is always an issue prior to profit and wish them all the best of luck and hope they manage to promote for years to come

    Well-loved! Thumb up 8 Thumb down 2
