Absolutely nothing shocking as far as results are concerned. Someone is keeping their affiliations happy.

  2. Not many thought Zahabi would win in under 20 seconds.

No need to hate just because he is from Tristar.

Let’s celebrate the fact that we have another really good up and coming Canadian Bantamweight.

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 5 Thumb down 10

Agreed Keith but I think the reason for the hate is that he doesn’t exactly fight the most challenging opponents by any stretch. If you look at his record of opponents, you can tell they’ve been handpicked for easy wins.

It’s a formula that I’m sure Firas knows all too well.

Actually I sound like a spiteful douche. Congrats on the win. Good to see up and coming talent. I would like to see him fight some more challenging opponents though.

What he has done is smart and every fighter should do until until they get there feet under them and are comfortable in the cage nothing wrong with building a guy.

The hate a fight or two ago unjustified. The hate now is a bit more justified lol he’s more then ready to take that next step

He had taken easy fights to date but DiChiara is a very skilled opponent. From what I see he is a purple belt that taps a lot of browns, seems to have tight stand up and is quite athletic. I was a bit of an Aiemann hater but he beat a very legit opponent here very quickly. He is ready for a more significant 135lb name in Canada

My post wasn’t directed at little Firas, it was more so pointed at the entire “tristar” contingent on the card. Of course Aimen is going to have a slow build as he is the namesake of the head coach at tristar and there are great expectations placed upon him. I am sure that he could compete with some top level guys in Canada and look forward to seeing that as well.

But for the lower level guys that will grace the regional circuit for the rest of their athletic persuits, it is disappointing to see even lower level guys brought in to get the promotion affiliated guys “W’s”.

For the record, this has been an issue in Gatineau/Ottawa area throughout the many shows that have run here… it is now just Evo/Tristar’s turn.

  8. Calgary Flames says:

After Jesse Arnett beats the shit out of Wardenbeerg then they can fly Zahabi out for The Big Cat to own as well!

    The Big Cat is hungry!
