Hard Knocks 45 – Weigh-In Results

Hard Knocks THUMBHard Knocks Fighting Championship is back in Calgary, Alberta for their 45th show.  Their September 25th show will be live at the Calgary Olympic Park Winsport.  If you are in the area, pick up a pair of tickets HERE.  If you are outside of Alberta, the event will be live on Go Fight Live and The Fight Network.

The Calgary Combative Sports Commission held weigh-ins today to make all the fights official.   All fighters made weight except Dusty Kramps who came in a few pounds over the Middleweight limit.

Pretty unprofessional of Brad Robinson… especially when he comments on every Alberta and BC card on here stating “I want on this card”.

…and yes Hard Knocks has a video of their pretty heated weigh in on their FB page.

First off why the fuck are u even 202 the morning to make 185 lol

  6. Joe Doerksen says:

Being 202 the morning of weigh ins when fighting at 185 is insanely stupid and funny at the same time.

Flying fighters into town the same day as weigh ins is equally ridiculous. All it takes is one little problem with the airport or airline, and your fighter isn’t going to make it on time.

Reading stuff like this makes my scratch my head. Then I sigh and smile, being thankful I never have to deal with it again.

On a more positive note, I think the Powell fight should be interesting and I’m very excited to see Vyron compete as well.

    Good luck to everyone competing.

@Brad Robinson, I’ve never met you, but from this situation I can easily say that you need to get some better people around you. If you can’t realize the errors in flights, water retention during the flights, weigh-in day flights, waking up weigh-in day at 202, and some other dumb shit, then you need to get new managers and coaches to help. Also, you need to smarten up. no offense.

@brad Robinson you knew you were going to miss weight obviously well in advance so instead of letting Phil towler continue cutting weight (which isnt fucking easy!) Tell sarah in advance and ask phil for a catch weight of 195 at the very least. Then the fight may have still been on and phil didnt cut weight for nothing.

My apologies Mr. Robinson. It seems you misunderstand. In no way do I believe you were less than 100% wrong. I apologize for being unclear.

Wow what a fuckn circus clown. Your a grown ass man . its your responsibility to fullfill your contract and you knew ahead of time about your flight and should have kept your fatass home if u were 17 lbs overweight on the day of weighins!

i have no body fat. lol

    Nobody cares

    You are a bum.

You are beyond unprofessional. Too bad you didn’t realize until you landed that you were scheduled to fly in the same day of the weight cut.

Forget the fact you have no clue how to make weight. You have no fat at all yet are going to hit 185 when you wake up at 202? That’s healthy. Who knew it would be as hard while travelling.

Then the day you were contracted to fight, you think everything is rectified because you signed a fight elsewhere.

As if everybody’s concern was that you would get an opportunity to compete.

Any promoter who tried to use you anywhere is surprisingly, a bigger idiot than you are.

  20. Brad Scorpion Robinson says:

i never said i didnt make mistakes. i made mistakes. i have learned from this. its not going to happen again. i thought i would have enought time to fly and cut same day. i was wrong and hard knocks was wrong to put me in that position in the first place. anyways, im moving forward with my fight career. next fight is in Oct. there is nothing anyone can say or do to me to make me stop fighting. im not going to retire so your all wasting your time. i will be Boxing and MMA Fighting for a long time.
