Hmm, so let me see how I can best phrase this.
– First off I was really excited to see a Canadian take centre stage on such a massive card. I think it was great that Tweet got in there.
– Any fighter knows why you get in there and it doesn’t matter how good your opponent is or is suppose to be you just show up to fight.
– Chris looked monster good. Her striking was amazing (not winging shots as per the commentator) and she crowded Tweet and took away her range. The KO body shot was a thing of beauty.
– Chris finished tweet 3 seconds faster than Ronda did – does that mean that Chris is better than Ronda?
Lol @ how that announcer pronounced Regina. He said the ‘gina part like “Gina” Carano.
Shocking.
Tweets got heart and is tough, I’ll give her that. Cyborg is just a different animal altogether. Most fighters would jump at a chance to fight someone who’s been looked at as Rousy’s only legit challenger. Think of what that could of meant for Tweet if she won. Good on her for taking that tough of a fight. Not a lot of people would be willing to step up to that level of competition. She did, she lost and I’m sure it’s back to the drawing board. Great to see a Canadian headline a card and rep women’s Canadian MMA.
Late getting to this but she was very lucky she may have only sustained a broken nose especially since she was stating she had the power no other opponent has had to fight her. No power no defense no striking chin fully up and not tough. She is almost the quickest take out Cyborg has had and Cyborg was tested two times and was clean of steroids and hadn’t fought mma in over a year. Curious if Tweet fights again.
Well-loved!

After watching the fight I feel the ref should have let it go a little longer. For a championship fight, atleast.
