Fight First Weigh In Results

Yesterday the Oasis Pub in Halifax held the weigh ins for the first all amateur card in Nova Scotia as Fight First will take place tomorrow night at Olympic Hall.   The banner is a new venture for Extreme Cage Combat as they will mix both amateur mma and kickboxing on the same card.  While Top MMA News was not able to make to the weigh ins, we were able to get most of the results from the promotion.  Due to a snowstorm in that has hit parts of Atlantic Canada this week, Brandon Clark was unable to make the weigh ins on time.  Clark and his opponent Brad Peters will weigh in sometime today and the promotion said they must be within 9lbs of each other for the fight to happen.  There is also no record of the weight for Jeff Brake but I was informed that he did the limit of 185.  Top MMA News will put the weight of if we do get it.  Tickets are still for sale and will be at the door which opens up at 6.  Here are the results

    Same day weigh ins?

I truly hope neither of these fighters are cutting to make weight and that making wieght is as easy as skipping breakfast. If not the commission has just opened themselves up for a massive liability in allowing this to happen.

I’m some what in support of same day weigh ins where it can be managed that the fighters are not cutting huge weight to make their contract weight but this type of change needs to be phased in.

    I hope this works out.

Very happy to see KOKO getting a fight. The young man entered TITANS at 13 years old, showed up to all the classes (even friday nights) and stuck with it the past 6 years!

I think that what you said was very reasonable. However, what about this?
what if you were to write a awesome headline? I am not suggesting your content
is not good, however what if you added a post title that grabbed people’s attention? I mean Fight First Weigh
In Results | Top MMA News at is a little vanilla.
You might peek at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create article titles to get people interested.
You might try adding a video or a pic or two to
grab people excited about everything’ve written. In my opinion, it could bring your blog a little
    bit more interesting.
