Time for Boxer to step up his competition and defend his title against the winner of Hudson vs Hague 2.
    See where he really stands.

  5. Bobby Karimi-Busheri says:

I think Boser has stepped up his competition in both of his last 2 fights. I think I’d wait at least a couple of fights before thinking about a Hague, and that’s if Boser stays at HW.

    Congrats on the belt!

  6. KJ says:

It may have already been addressed, but is Boser going to stay at heavyweight or fight at his previous weight class LHW?

  7. Just Sayin says:

    Wow Bobby pretty bold Statement.
I mean I said winner of Hague vs Hudson and you automatically say Hague.
Well at least we know who you think will win;)

Thumb up 1 Thumb down 4

  8. I think Bobby said Hague is because regardless if Hudson beats hague Boser will likely fight hague due to the fact from a business stand point hague sells a ton of tickets and the promoter sunny singh is known not fly opponents in.

Thumb up 3 Thumb down 1

  9. Bobby Karimi-Busheri says:

What I mean is that I’m pretty sure Hague will win. He isn’t the same fighter from 08/09, but by no means what some people here make him out to be. He’s still one of the Top 3 in Canada and would surely beat some fighters in the UFC, and more than that in Bellator and WSOF. Many rag on him and significantly diminish his accomplishments and what he currently brings to the table, but that’s not reality. Reality is there is only one currently active “real” hw that would be favoured to beat him. Hague should beat Hudson, whom I’m a fan of and seems like a real nice guy. From everything I’ve seen… Hague has better wrestling, jits, and ground. They both pack dynamite in their hands and have questionable cardio with Hudson most likely having better cardio. If Hague goes in with strategy and fights a MMA fight he’ll win. If he bangs it out with Hudson I still think he wins, it’s just that he gives big ole War Dog a good shot at catching him with one of his paws, but don’t forget Tim has those as well and they’ve knocked out some big names. So yea I think Hague wins this unless he gets careless or comes in super out of shape.

Now back to my original comment, Boser should not be fighting Hague yet, he is very young and still has a lot of time to develop, no rush. I’d put him up against guys like Hudson next at HW (not many HWs in Canada) or if at LHW keep him with Campbell level guys like Neis, MacDonald, Houle, a few of those Elite 1 guys, etc. Wouldn’t put him up against LHW ranked above him as I think there are significant steps up at various stages in the Lhw ranks(same cane be said about the HW).

Boser should train and fight to improve his record as well as get cage time and in fight experience. He has time and potential. Keep it up kid!

    Well-loved! Thumb up 18 Thumb down 0
