Dieckmann steps in to clash with Campbell
The Maximum Fighting Championship announced today that Carl Dieckmann, who has won six of his last seven fights, will step in to replace an injured Pete Spratt at MFC 41.

Dieckmann (11-2) will face Shane “Shaolin” Campbell (9-2) in a welterweight battle highlighting the Friday, Oct. 3 card live on AXS TV Fights from the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.

“It’s never easy to replace a fighter due to injury especially one the caliber of Pete Spratt, but Carl Dieckmann is certainly ready for the task at hand,” said Mark Pavelich, Owner/President of the Maximum Fighting Championship.

The Vernal, Utah, product boasts three knockouts and seven submissions on his resume which includes seven victories coming inside the first round.
Campbell, who fights out of Edmonton, has come out on top in five of his last six outings and has finished his foes in five of his 11 bouts. Campbell made his organizational debut at MFC 40 with a second-round TKO of Jerrid Burke.

Gower to meet Wright
Elsewhere on the MFC 41 main card, Corey “The Hatchet” Gower (5-2) will square-off against Josh Wright (3-1) in a bantamweight bout that will launch the live AXS TV Fights broadcast.

Gower has won two straight under the MFC banner, picking up hard-fought decision wins over Daniel Mark and Jon Barnard. Wright, who hails from Montana, has notched a pair of victories by first-round knockout.
