A Packed Top MMA Radio with Mitch Clarke, Adrian Woolley, & Brandt Dewsbery
First, Mitch Clarke joins the program to discuss his huge UFC 173 win over Al Iaquinta. Clarke gives his thoughts on his D’Arce choke submission, John Crouch’s cornering, how he celebrated the win, and his $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.
Next, Adrian Woolley jumps in and talks about his Flyweight debut at Substance Cage Combat 2.0 on May 30th in Toronto. Woolley educates listeners about his opponent Jeimeson Saudino. He also shares his opinions on making 125 at XFFC when he knew his opponent pulled out of the fight, fighting for a loonie, and the Ontario MMA scene.
Last, but definitely not least, Unified MMA Welterweight champion Brandt Dewsbery talks about his championship win over Chase Maxell at Unified MMA 19 this past weekend. Brandt discusses the risk/reward of throwing a flying knee which he used to KO Maxwell in the fifth round and laughs about how he would never throw another flying knee after getting subbed by Sergey Juskevic as a result of throwing one. Unfortunately, Dewsbery ends the interview by sharing a decision he may have to make: a great career vs pursuing his fighting dream.
