Here is his play-by-play of of tonight’s fights in Montreal, Quebec:

Charmaine Tweet vs. Anna Barone (155lbs)
Rd. 1
Both fighters are like rock’em sock’em robots but it is a stinging right straight from Tweet that punctuates the exchange. Tweet bullies Barone into the cage with an over-under hook and some knees. Fighters break away and Tweet with some stiff jabs, a left roundhouse and a right hand followed by a left hook catches Barone on the chin and she eats it like it’s mommy’s meatloaf. Barone creates some distance but absorbs a bodykick and ties Tweet up. Tweet establishes a thai plumb and trips Barone to the mat. She mounts Barone and unleashes a fury of punches. Barone gives her back but is then flattened. Tweet quickly slides her arm underneath the chin and secures the choke. Barone grimaces but taps out when she realizes that is her only way out of this slaughterhouse.

Ilias (Louie Sanos) Sanoudakis vs Phillip Deschambault (135lbs)
FYI, we are blessed with the same announcer as the last event at Club Soda. For this fight, he introduces Yves Lavigne as the fighter in the red corner. It took him a few seconds to realize his mishap.
Rd. 1
Fighters exchange a few feel out shots and Sanoudakis rushes his opponent. He bodylocks his opponent and shrugs him to the canvas where he establishes side mount and then mount. Sanoudakis with some heavy hips and hard punches but Deschambeault wallwalks himself out of it and they are now in Sanoudakis’ guard. The Tristar fighter quickly transitions to a triangle choke and his opponent taps out.

Ryan Rohovich vs. Johnny Ouellette (168lbs)
Rd.1
Rohovich misses with a big overhand right and Ouellete closes the gap. Fighters get tangled up but Ouellette lands a crushing knee to Rohovich’s noggin as they break apart sending him to the canvas. Ouellette smells blood and goes in for the kill. He lands four unanswered strikes and the ref calls an end to the fight.

Drayton Angus vs Peter Grajcar (180lbs)
Rd. 1
Angus connects early with a right hook and Grajcar is knocked down but not out. Angus looks surprised and hesitates beforing moving in but slips during his entry. Grajcar takes advantage of this by forcing a scramble and is now on top and in his opponent’s guard. Grajcar moves to half guard where he is stifled for some time, but eventually feeds his other leg through. Angus responds by giving him his back and attempts to stand up but Grajcar establishes his hooks and forces it back to the ground. Grajcar wastes no time and secures a palm to palm rear naked choke forcing his opponent to tap out.

Scott Eppen vs. Mohamed Moustaine (155lbs),
Rd. 1
Fighters touch gloves  and Moustaine touches him early with the jab. The unathletic looking Eppen attempts a swift spinning back kick but  his opponent rushes him to the canvas. Moustaine quickly establishes mount and rains a few blows on Eppen who decides to give him his back. Moustaine continues his onslaught from there with a couple of hard shots. These shots are unanswered and Eppen taps out.

Matthew Davis vs. Yvon Anselme Kadjo (120lbs)
Yvon Anselme Kadjo is introduced as a Kung Fu Prey Mantis stylist. This should be interesting.
Rd. 1
Davis takes the center of the ring and quickly tangles up with Kedjo before muscling him easily to the canvas. Davis immediately establishes full mount and Kedjo extends his left arm and baiting Davis for the armbar. Davis won’t be fooled that easily as Kadjo’s feet are up against the cage and waiting to push off during the transition. Davis with two straight punches and some elbows. He pauses for a few seconds and unleashes a barrage of downward strikes. The referee sees Kedjo has no escape plan and brings a halt to this bout.
