As previously mentioned on this week’s Rumour Mill, Jason Saggo will be on the UFC Vancouver card on June 14.  Now, MMA Junkie has determined that Saggo will fight Josh Shockley on the UFC 174 card.

Jason Saggo trains out Wulfrun MMA under Paul Abel in Prince Edward Island.  It will be almost a year between this UFC fight and his last against Stephen Beaumont at AFC 19.  In that fight, Saggo quickly submitted Beaumont.  The 28-year-old old has stopped everyone he has faced except Jesse Ronson, who won a split decision.

On June 14, Saggo will face Josh Shockley (11-2).  Shockley is joining the UFC on the heels of a decision win over Micah Miller.  Shockley is a Bellator veteran going 2-2 in the Bellator cage.  Josh trains in Indiana with Keith Wisniewski, Darren Elkins and Eddie Wineland.

Saggo joins a card that already features several Canadian fighters including Rory MacDonald, Ryan Jimmo, Yves Jabouin, Roland Delorme, and Kajan Johnson.  The event is headlined by a title fight between Demetrious Johnson vs. Ali Bagautinov.
