Whitlock vs Connor was a hard fought battle. I thought Connor took one round but Whitlock had 2 for sure.

Spoenlien vs Rhynes was a fire fight! Rhynes came out firing everything and landed some shots, breaking Spoenlien’s nose. But when it hit the ground Spoenlien was quick to work his game and wrap up the triangle putting Rhynes to sleep.

Walker vs Johnston was a fun fight to watch. They threw big leather at one another and each ate a couple big shots. It hit the mat and walker got mount scoring with some nice g’n’p until Johnston gave an arm and Walker finished a nice armbar.

Cows vs Anderson was pretty much all Cowx. Anderson landed a couple flurries but Cowx seemed to walk right through them for the most part and scored a highlight reel head kick to finish it. Anderson is a tough kid and will be back but Cowx is a BEAST and someone to watch at 155lbs

Only other fight I saw was Norris vs Horiba and it was a battle. Each guy landed shots in the first with Norris scoring 2 or 3 takedowns getting mount once and some g’n’p but Horiba ended the round with mount. After the first Norris’s was gassed and Horiba was able to push the pace and keep the fight where he wanted for the most part. 100% agreed with the 29-28 on all 3 cards. Solid fight from 2 tough Ammy’s.

    Hey Brian:

I didn’t see the fight. I bet it wasd a barnburner and I have trained with Connor, so I know he’s a terrific fighter who can grind, grind, grind.

What I found weird about your post was that you agreed with Whitlock getting the victory but figured it should be a split decision. Isn’t that like hoping one of the judges gets it wrong?

  11. Mike kent says:

Yeah saying you thought a fight was a split decision is always funny. Your no longer judging who won the fight your judging what you think the judges are thinking and thinking that 1 of them got it wrong lol . I think he meant connor won a round which would make it 29-28 instead of 30-27

By the way Craig ferguson is the David hasslehoff of the easy coast

  12. PhIl Mimeau says:

This Michael Spoenlein seems to be the new big deal… watch out Canada!

    Congrats to him

Thumb up 5 Thumb down 2

  13. Brian says:

Mike and Craig basically summed up what I was trying to say lol, just thought it was more a split than a ud. Lyndon deserved the win either way

Thumb up 2 Thumb down 3

  14. Michael Spoenlien won by Triangle, not Arm Triangle
