When the action resumes Zach continues to consistently outwork and outland Steve with a blistering and impressive array of strikes in combination. Steve is just plodding forward throwing haymakers. I really think Steve should pull guard here because the damage is clearly adding up at this point. Steve is bleeding from his nose and his mouth. Steve manages to clinch up with Zach. Zach’s corner is calling out for a take down which makes no sense to me. Steve takes down Zach with a brilliant hip toss but Zach manages to take Steve’s back. Zach is really grinding on Steve with a lot of short elbows. Zach has kept an amazing pace up throughout both rounds.

Round 3: Zach amazingly has hardly slowed down and Steve seems to have even given up on throwing haymakers. Steve attempts to clinch up and Zach punishes him with a three punch combination. At this point I don’t see how Steve can win this fight. Steve manages to catch Zach and land a hard right hand. Zach fires back with another combination. Steve looks exhausted and beat down. Zach on the other hand looks like he is in amazing physical condition. Steve rushes forward eating punches in bunches but manages to clinch up with Zach only to get hit by some hard body shots. Immediately after referee Brian Beauchamp resumes the action Jesse is hit with another low blow. This one looked bad. This is a strange round. The action resumes and Chris gets to work firing off combinations but Jesse is defending well. Chris is going more for the body and really opening up Jesse’s defence now. Chris lands a great right straight that drops Jesse. Jesse stands right back up but his hands are down and referee Brian Beauchamp stops the fight. The crowd is complaining about the stoppage but Jesse was clearly out on his feet and not in a position to defend himself. That was great stoppage by Brian Beauchamp.

Both fighters are proving to be very elusive this round. Blake throws a right hook that narrowly misses Ashmat. Ashmat looked faster but actually the round was really close. Great victory for Sergio “Sapateiro” Juskevic. This kid should be in the UFC.
Much respect to Brandt and hope he’s ok. He has great potential as well and will have a great career with his height, reach, and slick BJJ skills. That being said I think he should bulk up to 185 so he has a little more power behind his takedown defense because of his height.

  13. Big Win says:

I hope with Sergey’s win HK decides to put together Jarod Milko vs. Juskevic for the WW title. That would be a great scrap.

  14. Kellen Falt says:

The rumor floating around before Milko’s last fight was he would be looking at mybe Ryan Machan with Xcessive, maybe in April for their next show. Like I said, was just a rumor in December but If like to see either one of those fights to be honest

    Well-loved! Thumb up 6 Thumb down 0

  15. John says:

Milko is durable but all his wins are from a ground durability which against machin or worse juskevic he stands no chance either of them Would take. Limb or neck home from jarod, let’s juskevic vs omic and machon vs milko (just cause excessive has to as the title fight should have had machon anyway after he beat Gunn, ) then Gunn vs dewsberry with both coming off losses! Then you set up some crazy winner vs winner and loser vs loser fights from there

    Well-loved! Thumb up 6 Thumb down 0

  16. Cody Rempel says:

Machan earned that title shot long ago and has fought for XFFC… Juskevic can be next in line after that!

  17. Kellen Falt says:

Dewsbery is fighting Drummond in a month at WSoF, I think we will see Machan vs Milko and if you wanna throw Gunn and Omic in the mix, they had been vocal a while back about wanting to fight each other. May have changed, but all those are great match ups that everyone would enjoy. And Im not sure who to put up woth Juskevic, dont know much about him but Im sure there are some good fights out there for him
