Nick RingNick Ring (13-2), Canada’s number 1 ranked Middleweight, will meet Caio Magalhaes (6-1) at UFC Fight Night 33 from Brisbane, Austrailia. MMAjunkie.com was the first to announce the match up.

Ring will look to bounce back after dropping a split decision to Chris Camozzi at UFC 158. Ring entered the UFC on the heels of The Ultimate Fighter season 11 and won two straight edging out Riki Fukuda via unanimous decision and choking out James head in the third round at UF C131. Since then “The Promise” has gone just 1-2 in his last 3 bouts dropping decisions to Tim Boetsch and the aforementioned Camozzi with a win decision win over Court McGee sandwiched in between.

Magalhaes entered the UFC in June 2012 where he dropped a unanimous decision to Buddy Roberts suffering  his first defeat in his professional career. “Hellboy”  returned to the octagon 12 months later after a 12 month injury layoff to earn his first UFC win submitting Karlos Vermola at UFC on Fuel TV 10.

UFC Fight Night 33 goes down December 7th from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane Australia. The card is headlined by a massive Heavyweight tilt between Antonio Silva and Mark Hunt.
