Bocek and Prazeres Look to Right Ship at UFC 165


bocekToronto’s Mark Bocek will look to get back to his usual winning ways at UFC 165 on September 21 in his home town.  According to Sportsnet’s Joe Ferraro, Bocek’s opponent will be Michel Prazeres.

Both Mark Bocek (11-5) and Michel Prazeres (16-1) are coming into UFC 165 following losses in their last bouts. Bocek, who last fought on UFC 154, lost a decision to Rafael dos Anjos in his last fight. Bocek is 7-5 in his lengthy UFC career and has never lost two in a row over his career.

Michel Richard dos Prazeres will be coming down to Lightweight to try to hand Bocek his second consecutive loss. In his sole UFC appearance, Prazeres lost a decision to Paulo Thiago. Prior to that fight, Prazeres won an incredible 16 consecutive bouts.

Bocek and Prazeres will be on the card which features a Light-Heavyweight title fight between Alexander Gustafsson and Jon Jones. Also announced today was a bout between Chris Clements and Stephen Thompson.
