hague was very slow against hackert and hackert was very slow compared to ramma. So whats the point of having all of this build up only for rama to knock him hague within 2 mins?! thats a big step sideways as keith said rama has outgrown the canadian HW scene. @kyle stolz- if rama is as good as everyone says he is (and he is!) he wouldnt let kongo hang on to him for 15 min. rama’s speed and elusivness mixed with his power are what make him so great. You guys are total hypocrites, beaking guys for padding their records and fighting cans but then you shoot down the idea of a canadian guy fighting a tough opponent that could possibley propel him to the big show?? instead you want him to fight a fat guy losing 3 of his last 4 fights to middleweights? come on guys, rama is better than that. tyler east will not get signed to the UFC…ever, but if Rama were to beat a guy like that he would get an instant phone call

  3. @Marv, I disagree, if rama were to beat hague who is a well respected icon on the Canadian mma scene and a former ufc er I would say that would give him a great deal of credibility and propel him up the heavyweight rankings. then and only then can you expect to get that call to the big show. but for that to happen hague has to get out of his comfort zone, aline himself with a new training camp, preferably one stateside and work on his conditioning cause clearly that’s were he is lacking, then he would be a force to be recond with!!

  4. Marv says:

How come the honey badger never got a call then? not 1 but 2 extremely dominant preformances over “at the time” Canada’s perennial top heavyweight should of done it especially the roll Hague was on at the time. According to you the call should be automatic if someone beats hague

  5. @Marv,Tims performance against hackert and starnes was not his best due to the fact he was battling injuries at the time, this was evidenced by his heavily bandaged calve during his last fight. A 100 percent healthy Thrashing Machine would be a tough fight for any of the top perennial heavyweights. and your correct by beating Tim the call to the big show should not be automatic, but should be made within a week or two.

  6. PUCK says:

Ya, Tims a nice dude but has for sure fallen off and I don’t think it would help Rama either? I think a lot of you guys are right and MFC will need to start bringing guys in for him to fight. But will Pav do it? He has made it quite clear that he could care less about other show’s or trying to build fighters up for them. But I will go to these fights if Rama has a real test, so I’m waiting to hear who…..

U guys keep saying Hague but do your research Hague is with AFC so wont happen and besides that shouldn’t happen.

  8. Marv says:

Healthy or injured, the UFC sees it as a win over an old guy who’s career is over. It doesn’t even matter if he’s 100%

A quick wish; I wish people who have never gotten the call for one of there fighters would stop telling us what it would take to get the call.

Why won’t the mfc build up the lower weight divisions. They need more challengers. Also I heard Rosholt is fighting Rama for the belt

  13. Marv says:

Dude even a fan can figure it out it takes finishes to get to the show. There’s a reason why josh hill isn’t there yet (no offence to him because I think he should be) but the people want to see knock outs and submissions. Remember people are getting cut by wining a boring decision or 2 then losing by knockout. Personally I’m excited for Rama cuz he will make the show, just a matter of time. A guy that’s that young and good with 6 first round finishes its gonna be interesting to see what he’s like in his prime

Just watching Mark Pavelich on “In the Cage with Bards” and I am completely disgusted with his arrogance and his lies! 6000 people at his Windsor show – BULLSHIT! 3rd largest promotion in the world?? BULLSHIT!! If he has to talk himself up THAT much – he must be struggling! I am not a MFC fan and I refuse to support such a shitty promoter that does nothing to support Canadian fighters. How much of his card is American fighters? 1/3? TOO MUCH -for someone who spouts off about what a Canadian fighter supporter he is. Great for a laugh!!!
