Canada’s 7th ranked Lightweight, Mike Ricci will look to make it two in at row when he meets fellow TUF veteran Myles Jury at UFC 165.

Ricci, a member of Tristar, competed on TUF 16 where he made it all the way to the final but was defeated by Colton Smith via unanimous decision. A very well rounded fighter who’s finished half of his wins via TKO/KO, “The Martian” holds notable wins over Jesse Ronson, Jordan Mein, and most recently, TUF Smashes runner-up Colin Fletcher.

Jury, who trains out of Alliance MMA, originally competed on TUF 13 but injured his knee on the first episode and had to be removed. “Fury” returned on TUF 15 but lost his first fight to eventual runner up Al Iquinta. Current sporting a glossy 12-0 record, Jury has gone 3-0 inside the octagon with wins over Chris Saunders, Michael Johnson and Ramsey Nijem.

UFC 165 goes down September 21st in Toronto and will be main evened by a Light-Heavyweight title fight pitting champion Jon Jones against the rising Swedish sensation Alexander Gustafsson.

Not a great match up for Ricci, Jury will be a top 10 light weight within a year.
