Xcessive Force Fighting has added another solid fight to an already packed card with today’s announcement of Jarod Milko taking on Paulo Azambuja.  This Welterweight fight joins other top Canadian talent like Chris Horodecki, Tim Smith, Chad Laprise, Nathan Gunn, Ryan Machan, and many more already named to the July 20th event.

Jarod Milko (7-2) enters the Grande Prairie, Alberta fight on a two fight win streak having beaten Chris Stranger and Chase Maxwell in his recent outings.  ‘The Milkman’ has only lost to top tier talent – the unbeaten Derek Medler and World Series of Fighting’s Tyson Steele.

Can Milko extend his win streak against Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt Paulo Azambuja (2-0) at XFFC 2?  Azambuja will be taking a big step up against an opponent of Milko’s ilk.  The BJJ ace is unbeaten in his short career but has not faced the competition that Milko has.  Azambuja last beat Spencer Jebb at the inaugural XFFC 1 show in March 2013.

Could the winner of this bout receive a XFFC Welterweight title shot against the winner of Ryan Machan vs Nathan Gunn!  Top MMA News would love to see that!

This is a tough one to call as Milko is not known for his stand up power and seems to get his wins once they are on the mat, I don’t think that’s a smart plan in this one.

Also is Milko not from or originally from or to some large degree from Thunder Bay or spent lots of time there?

I recall seeing him announce and give thanks to Leading Edge and there coach and fighters quiet often before?

Is that not where Gunn trains?

    would they fight?

I don’t see that being a barn burner fight though regardless and more one sided
