Its funny as on the round 5 show they were pumping up Zahabi as one of the top 10 guys to watch for in Canada? Its goes without saying he will have great camps but his bro gave him a tottal can for his first fight so I just hope that this time he fights someone more on his “built up” level. But honestly I find the fight network overly “Eastern Canadian” baised and they don’t ever profile/do stories or even interveiw anyone past Manitoba. I’m kinda thinking about canceling the subscription because of it. It would be the best show ever if I lived in Toronto? Thoughts anyone?

Actually I agree completely. It’s gotta be hard though to get western Canadian info on fighters though, unless they have a western Canada correspondent

  3. PUCK says:

Oh I do like when they profile the UFC fights too, thats cool! But it really seems like they only push and report about the fighters “they” want to do well. They should have a little diddy called (whats up at Tri-star this month!)

  4. PUCK says:

Ah, very true? You would think they have or will based on the fact there’s 10 mma shows to every 1 back east? But good point

Here’s this week’s show. Frankie Edgar is our guest.

When we get some budgets approved to travel, we’ll head out west for sure. The plan would be to do 5 or 6 different pieces and bank them and use them every few weeks. All the Montreal stuff we have was shot in 2 days and we just stretch it out over many shows. We’ll do the same when we finally get to Edmonton/Montreal/Victoria etc.

We’re mostly UFC oriented these days on this show but we do keep an extra eye on Canada too.

We make this show with a literal outside budget of $0.00 but we’re trying our best to grow it. People like it so if it keeps doing well we’ll get more $ to travel.

Honestly do value your feedback its something to think about and I appreciate it.

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 6 Thumb down 4

Will an updated fight card be released soon?
This is a stacked card with so many quality fighters. High profile rookies, up and comers on the brink of moving to bigger organizations and of course one of Canada’s most notable UFC veterans.
Plus, this event is being held at the classic UCC/TKO venue in Montreal

  15. hasslehoff says:

Why not have Aiemann Zahabi fight Kyle Vivian again. Seems like he’s only willing to fight Charbonneau, Vivian or these level of fighters. Many guys want to fight him and to say he’s being protected is a huge understatement
