  2. Matt says:

Who needed the 180 catch in the Omic / Madrid fight? Was it last minute or determined a while back and why ? They both are 170 fighters are they not and i believe Omic has even dabbled or thought about 55?

  3. Cody Rempel says:

I believe both men were added late… the bout was just announced on Monday as they needed a main event for the card.

  4. Donald Duck says:

F’n laughable that they have the balls to call it a ‘Professional’ fight card when there are only two fights are real weight classes.

    Way to go Calgary!

  7. Donald Duck says:

    LOL at STFU.

Listen, we have rules for a reason. It helps to protect the safety of the fighters involved by providing standard rules and expectations. If a fight is at Middleweight (for example) then the contract weight should reflect that.

We’re either serious about building and growing the sport or we’re not.

PS – Daffy is my brother, we get confused a lot, mostly by really slow people.

  8. Robin Black says:

    Gotta agree with the Duck.

I mean, every single catchweight FALLS into a weight class.

Catchweight of 173? Well, that’s “MiddleWeight”.

188? You got yourself a funky LightHeavyWeight fight right heeah.

Of course ya gotta make an attemt to tighten up this kind of thing. “Pro it up” a bit HK.

At the same time Duck, some nice matches here so good opportunities for these fighters to ply their trade.

But I hear what you’re saying man (Duck). We gotta raise the levels of professionalism not lower them.

    Well-loved! Thumb up 8 Thumb down 3
