Alexis Davis Returns to Winnipeg; This Time to Fight in the UFC Octagon
Canada’s Alexis Davis will be fighting in Manitoba for the third time when she returns to Winnipeg on June 15th to fight on the UFC 161 card. Davis’ opponent for the UFC card will be England’s Rosi Sexton (13-2) – both will be making their UFC debuts.

Port Colbourne, Ontario’s Alexis Davis (13-5) is heading into the matchup on the heels of two consecutive victories. After losing a rematch to Sarah Kaufman in a fight of the year candidate, she finished Hitomi Akano and Shayna Baszler in subsequent Invicta Fights. Davis is no stranger to Winnipeg having fought twice before in the city for Ultimate Cage Wars – once in her MMA debut against Kaufman and a victory over Kate Roy.
Davis’ opponent will come into the fight with a three match winning streak at Cage Warriors. Sexton defeated Roxanne Moddaferi and Aisling Daly via unanimous decision in her latest fights.
