First of all I would like to say that this incredibly disrespectful in many ways. Not to sure where to start.
It’s like it is the first time any of you have seen someone miss weight!? Happens quite often in this sport.

DeMarce flew himself from camp in San Diego after a very hard training camp preparing for this bout and his diet was very clean and on track.Demarce arrived in winnipeg on wednesday and started his weight cut early thursday morning cutting out his food and water intake, Thursday night we had received a text from curtis stating “I just weighed in at 150lbs” meaning he had 4lbs to lose the next day in order to make his weight at 146lbs. Demarce then messaged me at 4pm with a text picture of him on the scale reaching 146lbs. When he got to weigh ins he called me after first attempt and said “I am off weight, going to cut and work hard as I can in this hour” in that hour he killed himself to cut 2 more pounds to make weight, I was informed curt was very weak and getting dragged to weigh ins. No excuses what so ever for him but this man prepared himself, dieted, flew himself there and had all the right intentions to make this fight happen other then not making sure scale was correct. Apologize as that was very unprofessional on curtis’s part but it happens. In most cases a lot of fighters would still have accepted the fight, Adam and his camp did NOT with Curt being 2pounds over which is understandable and their decision. As the wait and night went on Demarce then offered Lorenz His purse and said lets do this. It was not until 1pm the next day Adam had finally accepted the fight possibly knowing what was going on with other issues with the commision.
As far as the issues that were happening with the commision it is funny that mr.grienke had mentioned that he really wanted this fight to go down including the AFC fans and hometown fans. Well weird thing about that is Mr.Grienke himself is the man himself who had leaked it all to the commission so the bout would be dropped knowing that it would so he could have a article on his website, as he was just doing his job as rules and regulations are different in this country. Mr.grienke had approached curtis as stated above earlier on in the week about a fight that curtis did down here in san diego. Demarce had faught a week prior on a show here in san diego called Xplode, as everyone knows curtis was coming off one of the worst injurys possible and very lucky to still have his arm so we had adviced him to have a exhibition match or bout as that is very common down here in the state of california and other states in america just to see how it felt and where he was at. He did not receive any funds or money, did not expect it to show up on record and when it was had it removed immediately. This is very common down here in america and I can understand especially coming off the injury that he did. There are plenty of guys down here that have built there records and are even now going up to canada to fight or are now competing in the UFC that have faught on these shows. With Curtis Coming off his injury he wanted to re asure he was ready to come back at a elite level that he at was before. Demarce is known for putting on FOTN performances in almost every fight he has including fighting UFC veteran “Marcus Davis”, Ritchie Whitson, and beating and fighting some very big names. Curtis was willing to fight for free, had a lot on the line, sold plenty of tickets and had people coming to watch, This is not something that Demarce had hoped for or wanted in any way shape or form. Curtis was advised from his team and management to accept this bout here in san diego as no one including himself did not know the 14 day regulation as california is 7 days and that is for a PRO event which this bout was a exhibition which it is very CLEAR they do not have in Canada.
As for the person that said mr.demarce he is on steriods or to big of a vitamin cycle I am sure that is a very huge compliment to Demarce as it is to GSP and I am sure and aware mr.demarce would be open to a test at anytime if that concerns you.

Now from my understanding everyone was looking forward to this fight lorenz vs demarce and it had FOTN possibility all over it? Demarce took advice and happens to be different laws, obviously demarce did not Know the Manitoba rules by having over 70 people drive out form his hometown to watch to the event and spend his own money flying from san diego and putting in the work that needed to be done. He has gone into the AFC cage during intermission at the event apologized to fans, promoters, friends and family and also adam’s camp and is always down for any fight. This is the first time also demarce has ever missed weight in his career or had to back out.

It is pretty dissapointing to see a few of these comments. Thank you Joe Doerksen as you are right about Curtis as you have cornered him a few times. We also have learned something and apologize on our behalf as well. The Kid will be back and put on wars as usual though. Hope you all understand.

Commission did not know until after the fight was called off. I only published after. I would have published after the fight if it went on.

B.S. – HE WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE RULE ( AND I THINK HE DID )BECAUSE HE DIDNT HAVE THE RESPECT TO EVEN LET THE AFC KNOW AT ALL ABOUT HIS FIGHT IN CALI .SEEMS HE TRIED TO HIDE IT FROM EVERYONE EVEN THE DAY OF THE WEIGH INS . BECAUSE IF HE WOULD HAVE TOLD DARREN ABOUT HIS FIGHT A WEEK PRIOR NO ONE WOULD HAVE HAD TO KILL THEIR SELVES TRYING TO MAKE WEIGHT , INCLUDING DEMARCH CAUSE DARREN WOULDNT PLAY THAT SHI-.IT WAS AND IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FIGHTER AND HIS MNGMNT TO KNOW THE COMMISSIONS RULES PRIOR TO ANY FIGHT.

I LOVE DEMARCH BUT I CALL BULLSHI- !
