  8. I think they could do a LW tourney as well…

Ronson, Cardinal, Saggo, A.Ricci, De Lorenzi, Maromo, Campbell, Laprise, Quenneville, Jenson.

A couple UFC vets in Holst and Alessio to make it interesting.

  9. Cody Rempel says:

Hopefully they do two weight classes on the one show… 8 fighters each! What are everyone’s guesses for coaches?

  10. Darren Owen says:

Stoute and Bocek is my guess if they’re going to fight. Grant a possibility but he’s too close to a title fight unless he loses to Maynard.

You know Davis… The guy with all that ko power. Trains at scooby doo in red deer. His brother is the number 1 125er in the world.

  12. Cody Moorman says:

How could all those lightweights be mentioned without Kurt ‘The Hurt’ Southerns name in it!

    Well-loved! Thumb up 9 Thumb down 3

  13. @Cody Moorman…I just have most of the rankings memorized and Kurt is not in there as he was inactive.

Southern would be a welcome addition to TUF Canada.

  14. Anon says:

Daniel Mark at bantamweight as well. Still early in his career but don’t let us forget he did rip off Fisette’s arm… Fisette’s record is strong but the only real impressive performance was against Diego Wilson, and even that I’m sure wouldn’t happen again.

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 7 Thumb down 4

  15. Darren Owen says:

Fisette was also very impressive over Alan Munroe who looked really good when he beat Owen Carr. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Daniel Mark and I’ve offered him to many fighters who have declined.

    Well-loved! Thumb up 9 Thumb down 2

  16. Anon says:

Alan did look extremely good in that fight. Hopefully he finds his rhythm now.

@Darren Owen – Why would a relatively unknown in Mark have such a tough time establishing opponents? Is he difficult to deal with or something behind the lines?

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

  17. Graham Weenk says:

he is not difficult to deal with…he has wins over Fessette and Maged Hammo with his lone loss being a very controversial split decision to Mike Davis. He as only had 4 fights but beat tough competition so no one wants to take the risk of fighting him.

the unfortunate part of Canadian mma that we have found here with my fighters consistently sitting out a year plus is guys are really picky with their opponents. most promotions in Canada cater to the home town fighters and when they turn down fighting guys like Daniel Mark they are given new opposition while Daniel is left with nothing.

we are from sask, no hometown shows to cater to us.
